My wife, Nancy, and I believe
strongly that anyone whose
family was impacted by
the Holocaust has a responsibility to
preserve the memory and support
teaching the history and lessons of
that experience. Both of my parents
are survivors, and they each lost many
family members in the Holocaust.
My father spent five and a half years
in concentration camps. He spent
much of his adult life sharing his
experiences with student, religious,
and other organized groups and raising
funds to preserve the memory of the
Holocaust. My mother survived World
War II in and around Warsaw and
was similarly impacted. It is for these
reasons we decided to support the
Museum’s endowment. The United
States Holocaust Memorial Museum
is the nation’s premier institution for
Holocaust education, and it deserves
our funding and support.”
