We believe that the tragedy
of the Holocaust must be
told and retold to every
generation of people throughout
the world. Mal’s grandfather
died in the Warsaw ghetto. Other
close family members perished at
Treblinka. Several years ago, we
traveled to Żyrardów, Poland, the
birthplace of Mal’s parents. This
trip was both heart-wrenching
and inspirational for us. It truly
confirmed our belief in the work
of the United States Holocaust
Memorial Museum. The work of the
Museum assures us that the memory
of those we’ve lost will forever
endure. This remarkable place
educates all the visitors who walk
through its doors. We are grateful
to be part of this great institution
and its purpose of bringing
education and awareness of crimes
against humanity across the globe.”
