My husband and I were
fortunate enough to
escape Nazi Germany
Several years ago, my
late wife, Linda, and I
had the sad experience
before many of the most
horrible events took
place. The traumatizing
Kristallnacht experience
at age 11 cannot be erased!
Many of our close relatives
did not survive. When
this Museum was planned,
we were eager to add our
support and later our
commitment to perpetuate
the legacy of the Holocaust.
The Museum has done an
outstanding job of keeping
the memory alive with its
education and outreach
programs. My fervent
hope is that the ongoing
task of involving future
generations of active,
participating, and devoted
people will continue
after our generation of
eyewitnesses is gone.”
of traveling to Eastern
Europe to visit many
of the Holocaust sites.
Even though we did not
personally experience the
atrocities of those years, we
did return from this trip
with a better understanding
of the words Never Again.
I wanted to establish a
Museum legacy gift in both
our names in the hopes
that our support will help
fund programs today and
in the future in order to
teach others about what
happened and why it should
never happen again.”
