My contribution is tied
to the United States
Holocaust Memorial
The existence of
the United States
Holocaust Memorial
In memory of my
beloved husband,
John, and his parents,
Museum’s global mission.
Not only is it the memory
and voice of the Jewish
past; it also sheds light
on injustice and suffering
affecting people of different
cultures and faiths. Had
the Museum focused
solely on the pain of our
coreligionists, it would
have diminished us all. As
Martin Luther King Jr.
said, ‘Injustice anywhere
is a threat to justice
everywhere.’”
Museum helps to lessen
the pain of the Holocaust
and the memory of the
family members my parents
lost—a large family that was
lost to me as well. That is
why it’s so important for
me to be a donor. I know
that the memory of these
poor souls, who were never
able to realize the potential
of their entire lives, can live
on at the Museum. Because
their loss serves an ultimate
purpose of education, their
lives were not in vain. And
knowing that my family
and I matter so much, and
the care and thoughtfulness
of wonderful people at
the Museum, are why I
respect and cherish this
institution so much.”
